Fairview Eye Exams and Eye Care Services
Eye exams are absolutely essential for maintaining long term eye health, regardless of age or overall physical condition. Our Doctors in Fairview recommend that every person have a regularly scheduled complete eye exam roughly every one to three years. How often you should have your exam depends on your age, medical history and risk factors for eye conditions.
During an eye exam in Fairview, we will determine your prescription for eyeglasses or contacts, check your risk for common eye diseases, such as glaucoma and cataracts, and check how your eyes work together as a team and in isolation. This will allow your expert eye care professionals in Fairview to assess your overall eye health from a big-picture perspective.
We will also check your eyes for indications of other types of conditions, like diabetes, that can affect you beyond your eyes. The eyes are often the first place that symptoms show up for some of these conditions, and early detection means early treatment and a greater chance of success in combating these dangerous conditions.
Fairview Eye Care Advanced Technology
All of our staff is constantly trained and re-trained in the latest technologies and methods of detection for all major common eye conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, and retinopathy, so that we can provide you with the best treatment and results for all your toughest eyecare needs. In Fairview, we have recently added great new technologies for early detection and treatment of one of our areas of specialty, glaucoma, as well as technologies meant to detect and treat retinopathy, macular degeneration and others.
